Belhasa Projects seals Iraq, Maldives contracts
Deals see UAE based swimming pool construction specialist enter new markets
Belhasa Projects, the UAE based swimming pool construction specialist, announced on Wednesday that it had won major contracts in Iraq and the Maldives through its subsidiary, Aquascapes.
In Erbil, Iraq, the company has won contracts to provide landscape design for a luxurious villa and a hotel, said Malay Shah, general manager Aquascapes.
“We are excited to enter the landscape design market in Iraq, which has strong growth potential for us. This project is a step in the right direction, Iraq provides a pro-investment environment and this could be the start of many new projects for us,” he explained.
The swimming pool refurbishment project in the Maldives is Belhasa’s first in the country, Shah said. He explained the project involved a prestigious hotel and a complete facelift to the currently existing facilities.
“Maldives being a prominent tourist destination, there is a strong demand from hotels and private luxury villas for our services and we are looking forward to exploring more business opportunities in Maldives,” Shah added.
