Property Monitor to provide real estate statistics to Bloomberg Terminal
Property Monitor was developed by Cavendish Maxwell in a bid to enhance market transparency
Property Monitor is now the only real estate data source in the UAE that provides a real time, real estate index to Bloomberg to display on its investor terminals. The announcement was made by property and construction consultancy Cavendish Maxwell (CM), which developed the Property Monitor product.
Bloomberg Terminal is a computer software system provided by the financial data vendor Bloomberg, which allows subscribers to monitor and analyse real-time financial market data and place trades on the electronic trading platform. Most large financial firms are said to have subscriptions to the Bloomberg Professional service.
CM says it developed Property Monitor in response to a need for greater market transparency, and adds that the service offers more comprehensive house pricing data, both public and proprietary, than anyone else in the market.
Property Monitor sources data from Cavendish Maxwell’s internal teams and from a growing network of reputable real estate brokers.
The consultancy says that Property Monitor is in a unique position to provide meaningful insight by way of access to the valuations, research, investment and development advisory teams of Cavendish Maxwell.
In addition, its project and building consultancy team is one of few companies approved by RERA for property inspection handover reports and reserve fund studies.
Property Monitor data and insight are also available to the market via other platforms and services.
