Dubai Land Department head passes away
Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Ruler of Dubai offer condolences
Shaikh Maktoum Bin Khalifa Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, the head of the Dubai Land Department, and the first cousin of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, has passed away, state news media has reported.
Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, on Saturday offered condolence on his death, at the age of 50.
Shaikh Hamdan and Shaikh Maktoum, accompanied by Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates airline and Group, offered condolences to Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, head of the Dubai Lands and Property Department, in Al Aweer.
On consoling the deceased’s brothers, they extended their heartfelt sympathy on the sad demise of the deceased praying to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
The funeral prayers were performed at Al Quoz mosque after afternoon prayers. He was buried at Al Quoz cemetery.
