Samana Developers has broken ground on its $27.2m wellness-themed residential project at Dubai Studio City. The developer notes that work has already begun on Samana Golf Avenue and is scheduled for completion in December 2022.

Contractor Prestige Constructions has been appointed on the project, while AREC Engineering Consultants are the main project architects.

According to a statement, the four-storey project is spread over 210,000sqft and has been designed with resort and wellness features. It will house 233 apartments and boasts several amenities including mini golf, indoor and outdoor gymnasiums, a large swimming pool with swim up refreshment area, jacuzzi, children’s play area and pool with green spaces and water features to create a healthy lifestyle.

The developer also stated that Golf Avenue aims to contribute to the Dubai 2040 Urban Masterplan which focuses on health, sustainability and enhanced quality of life.

The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by group chairman Muhammad Farooq, Prestige Constructions CEO Nur Alam Chaudhary and AREC Engineering Consultants CEO Syed Taqiullah along with other senior officials.

Farooq said that Samana aims to create a new record in Dubai by completing the superstructure of the project in just 240 days. He explained, “We are fast-tracking the construction with two shifts of workers, taking care of workers’ health condition along with the PPE, COVID-19 SOPs intact, project timeline and remote monitoring. These measures ensure uninterrupted workflow which will help Samana complete the construction ahead of time.”
