Ellington, the Dubai-based property developer, has announced the ‘topping-out’ of its DT1 Residential Tower in Downtown Dubai with an event attended by architects, investors, homeowners, agents and other stakeholders.

The topping out of the project signifies the completion of structural work, which was finished ahead of schedule, the developer said in a statement. DT1 is the fourth project by Ellington and is scheduled for hand-over by the third-quarter of this year.

With its close proximity to two key city hubs – Downtown Dubai and Business Bay – the residential tower offers residents and investors a unique value proposition, Ellington added. It is within walking distance of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Opera and Dubai Mall. It is also a short drive to Dubai Marina and Mall of the Emirates.

Set in an area of 20,000sqm, DT1 rises to a height of 76 metres. With its glass cladding, the tower is comprised of intelligent design features that maximise space utilisation. Customers have the option of choosing from large four-bedroom penthouses on the topmost floors, or studios, 1-,2-, and 3-bedroom units.

The interiors are designed with living room and kitchen having laminated and lacquer details, while the kitchen offers integrated Miele appliances, an under-mount kitchen sink and a dramatic mixer in addition to creative joinery details, the developer said. The tower also has a fitness centre with the latest equipment and leisure and lap-pools, it added. A games room is also provided.
