Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) has described infrastructure as a top priority for 2019 following the approval of Dubai’s $9.2 billion infrastructure budget by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai for the year.
In a statement on official news agency WAM, Ahmad bin Shafar, CEO, Empower added that Empower’s operational capacity has reached 1.43 Million RT by the end of 2018; contributing to meeting the growing demand for district cooling and developing modern cities. ).
“The UAE focuses on diversifying its economy, as well as investing and developing vital sectors that generate direct economic returns, notably infrastructure, renewable energy and free zones, in addition to tourism and entertainment.
