$486m Hariri mansion UK’s biggest ever deal

Seven storey property being offered to international buyers at more than double the UK’s biggest ever property deal

Overlooking Hyde Park, the property has 45 bedrooms and covers 5,574 sqm.

The London mansion of the Lebanese late prime minister, Rafiq Hariri has been put up for sale in what realtors anticipate to be the most valuable housing deal in the history of the UK.

Overlooking Hyde Park, the stucco-fronted property, although not officially being marketed, is being offered to a select list of wealthy international buyers at an asking price of $486.5m, more than double the previous UK house-price record of $227m.

Built as four separate family houses, the seven-storey building boasts 45-bedrooms and covers an area of 5574 m2.

The house was bought in 1982 by the Yunak Corporation, a company registered in Curaçao in the Dutch Antilles, and run by Mr Hariri.
