Real estate developer Tanmiyat says it has awarded a $163 million construction contract in Dubailand to Al Adnan Contracting for the construction of six towers as part of its ‘Living Legends’ project.

The newly awarded contract schedules handover for 2019 and follows Tanmiyat’s previously announced appointment of Beijing Emirates Contracting to complete two buildings in Living Legends and one tower near Dubai Water Canal last year.

“We are proud to work with Al Adnan Contracting, which has an impressive track record of successful projects and high customer satisfaction. This partnership will have an immediate improvement on construction progress,” said Abdulazizi al Majed, Tanmiyat’s spokesman of the management board. “The new appointment is another milestone that shows our commitment to delivering our projects in the UAE. We have made minor changes to the buildings’ façade, matching the market trends and bringing more attractive designs to our clients. Tanmiyat’s state-of-the-art developments fit the market demands as our apartments renowned for above-market standards and well-designed facilities that provide what families are looking for.”

The $1.9 billion Living Legends development consists of 12 residential towers, 500 villas, a golf course, a hotel, a shopping mall, a school, a nursery as well as future projects that are currently in the design phase. To date, 500 villas have been handed over and one tower (Hercules) with two additional towers to be delivered before end of 2018, said Tanmiyat. Once completed the gated community will accommodate up to 20,000 people. Delta International Real Estate has been appointed as the commercial partner managing commercial operations and Tanmiyat has already delivered the villas and one tower in Living Legends. It says it is working to meet market demands to bring on new projects in the area.

“The market is healthy and this competition forces developers to go the extra mile to satisfy the expectations of clients,” explained Saleh Tabakh, CEO of Delta International Real Estate. “Improving the quality of life in Dubai and encouraging everyone in the industry to be more creative, is what has defined the success of Delta International Real Estate. Moving towards social sustainability, the audience for the Dubai market has changed dramatically in the past five years as the emirate offers an unmatched lifestyle. Living Legends follows the same trend by offering a community that defines sustainable living through a school, mall, nursery, day care, clinics, golf course, and other sports facilities. The reasonable prices units in Living Legends do not compromise on the units’ size, which are considered the biggest in the current market.”
